Description

This image captures 2 primary galaxies (M102 and NGC 5907) accompanied by 2 minor spiral galaxies (NGC 5905 and NGC 5908) located in the constellation of Draco at a declination of +56 degrees.

I used my RASA setup for this image to try to capture the disturbed star halo around M102.  The disturbance is believed to be due to a previous close galaxy encounter.

I had previously imaged all of these objects with my much longer focal length EdgeHD11 setup, with the posted images here from that setup:
M102
NGC 5907
NGC 5905 and NGC 5908

I posted a comparison of the images of these 4 objects here in Revision G, showing the image differences between the RASA (620 mm focal length, 1.25 image scale) and EdgeHD 11 (2800 mm focal length, 0.34 image scale) setups.  My integration time for the RASA image was 1/3 of the time for the EdgeHD images.  I did not process these images in the exact same manner with the same tools, so it is just a rough comparison.
